Infertility treatment
If you have been treated with recombinant hormone therapy as part of a course of IVF, you can donate once the treatment has concluded at least three months ago, and you are not pregnant.
You cannot give blood if you:
- are currently undergoing investigations for infertility
- have been treated with Metrodin HP medication for infertility, this would have been prior to December 1st 2003
- ever received a donated egg or embryo
