When donors in Skerries became aware of the need for more blood donors, they came together to do something about it. 7 donors decided to talk to others about the importance of blood donation in the hope this would encourage others to also do so – in theirs and other communities.

They wanted to reach out & tell their stories, and inspire others to give blood and spread the message further. They realised everyone in the community counts – every donor, every donation - and every person who is saved when they receive a unit of blood, because others decided to take time to give blood
