Helping us reach our donors

The IBTS is proud to have Vodafone Ireland as a main corporate partner.  This partnership provides us with over five million free text credits annually to communicate with our donors, facilitating clinic reminders, blood group specific recruitment campaigns and very importantly, the thank you text sent to donors when their blood is sent to a patient.

The text messages Vodafone provide are instrumental in motivating donors to attend clinics. In a donor survey 90% of interviewees described the facility as ‘good’ and ‘excellent’.
